Parents night for VB and XC at Stapleton next Tuesday Oct 15th during volleyball vs Maxwell. Parents will be honored at the end of the JV match (Approximately 5:45pm). See flyers for details.
Stapleton Public Schools and the Sandhills Valley Mavericks Sports Cooperative is seeking coaches for JH winter sports.
JH wrestling is a short 6 week season - meets only during the month of November.
JH Basketball (Boys) is also open. Practices are during the school day from 1:45-3:30pm M-TH.

We have another student with RARE Character. She is always respectful and kind to everyone around her. She also has a smile that lights up the room. She is very respectful!
We are starting the week off with a student earning a RARE award. This young man is quick to notice when someone needs help and helps them without being asked. He is very empathetic! What a great trait to have!

Chemistry students were tasked to complete two challenges this week. Challenge 1: (pictured with the girls) Determine if all candy coating colors are the same. Students are required to determine a lab procedure in which they can sepeate and measure tha amount of differt dyes in the candy coatings.
Challenge 2: (The boys) Determine the percent water composition of the best popping popcorn given three different brands. (Lots of math, they like that!) 😊
We have 2 fourth grade students who have been awarded for their RARE qualities. These students were Responsible and Empathetic. They both do their work. She makes good choices and he is a good friend to others. I am so proud of these 2.
VB broadcast info for tonight's games in Sargent
Mrs. Isom and Mrs. Burnside are teaming up with the NHS group to host a Book Swap on October 15, 2024, during the Volleyball game in the Bronco room. It will last from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Students are asked to bring books from home that they have already read to swap with someone else to have a new book to read. For every book they bring in, they will get a ticket and can swap for each ticket they get. The books they bring in should be books in good condition. No tears, stains, or smelly books. It will be for all ages, even adults. We can't wait! Mrs. Isom would love to get some new reading material!
Today we had our first 2 sixth grade students earn a Rare Award. These students are respectful, responsible and empathetic. He helps clean up the room and helps others clean their desks. She stays on task even when others around her are off task. She also helps others in class. These two are amazing students are students or RARE Character.

Today we had our second 5th grade student earn a RARE award. He earned it for showing empathy and respect towards others. He will stop what he is doing and help individuals who are struggling. He has stopped to help someone who has dropped things or are struggling with a task. He gives other words of encouragement. We have amazing students with RARE characteristics.
