Play Production season is officially underway! Stapleton's One-Act performers participated in a workshop in Cozad today. Here are some images and results. Congrats to all team members and sponsors!
On November 2, Sandhills Valley Jr. High competed in a wrestling tournament in Sutherland. Ten SVH athletes participated. The young men and women did an amazing job. Their overall total for the day was 21 wins with only 8 losses. This is an amazing group of young athletes!
REMINDER: Post-Fall sports season parent meeting with Mr. Johnson is scheduled for Nov 9 (Next Thursday) at 6pm in Stapleton Schools Library. This is a chance for parents of athletes/activities to voice their opinions on SVM happenings. See you all there!
The Annual Elementary Halloween Parade was held on October 31st in the main gym.
Each class paraded around the gym for the parents and family in attendance.
The Junior Chamber Members selected one student from each class as "Best Costume" and were awarded $5 in Chamber Bucks.

As part of our Cowboy Day theme for Red Ribbon Week, Cayson Johnston shared some of his roping skills during the Elementary lunch time today. Thank you, Cayson!!
Last spring the Stapleton Public School Foundation approved a grant for an Aerospring hydroponics plant tower for use in the ag classroom. The students have been busy learning with it this year!

Big thanks to the Stapleton Schools Foundation and their board members for purchasing new volley lite volleyballs and a brand new ice machine. These items will go a long way towards improving the performance and morale of all staff and students here! Thank you to all members of the community who support the foundation and our school!
Nancy, from the American Legion Auxiliary, came to Stapleton Elementary School and talked to the students about Veteran's Day. She brought pictures for the students to color for a coloring contest. The students were very interested and the upper grades participated in a trivia contest.
Mrs. Jones' 6th grade science class created a chemical reaction to see energy being created.
Oct. 30 to Nov. 3 is Red Ribbon Week. There will be a variety of activities throughout the week that challenge our students to live a life free of drugs and alcohol. Here are the Dress Up Days for the elementary students.
