Mav Golfers win the Thedford Meet We were very pleased at how the team performed up at Thedford. We won 3 individual medals, and the team plaque. It was a cold, windy day again, but the guys hung in there and turned in good scores. It was a tough meet, with 10 area teams. The top 5 scores were: Sandhills Valley - 368 St. Pats - 383 Mullen - 399 South Loup - 400 A/M - 403 It was the first time this year we had 3 individual placers. Cole Kramer continues to lead the area, and the other guys are turning in better scores each week. Individual placers were: C. Kramer S V 84 B. Haake S/T 86 C. Cooksley A/M 86 M. Phelps St. Pats 87 B. Powell S V 91 E. Weems S V 91 G. Deeds St. Pats 91 T. Gideon Burwell 94 A. Batrak A/M 95 J. The Preschoolers enjoyed cleaning up the garden area in front of the school and putting out new mulch. They also cleaned up trash around the front of the building. A breezy but great community clean-up!

The NHS students took their annual service trip to Lincoln. We started out our venture with a tour of our State Capital building, then went back in time to the Prehistoric Put Put Golf. Enjoyed a great supper at Cheddars and then went underground and experienced a fantastic tour of Robbers Cave. Finally to end our trip we helped sort boxes at the People’s City Mission. We found anything from fancy dolls, sunglasses, to sombreros! It was a great way to make an impact in Nebraska.
