GO MAVERICKS!!!
The Speech team traveled to their first meet of the season at Gothenberg, who hosted 29 schools and 400 entries!
Noah Anderson (9th grade) received the gold medal for Novice Entertainment
Tessa Hansen (12th grade) received a 7th place medal in Varsity Poetry.
With the super limited practice they have had, they all performed very well, many of them placing in middle or the top half of their event. Most Varsity events averaged 30 participants! Stapleton placed 16th out of 29 schools as a team! Congratulations and good luck at MNAC Speech in Taylor Wednesday!
Today the Lady Mavericks wrestlers had a good day. We will be sending 3 girls to districts. Mariah broke the fast pin record by pinning her girl in 9 seconds.
