Greetings Sandhills Valley Maverick Community Members,
Fundraising is a critical part of any organization. We are extremely grateful for the support our community provides each and every year - but we believe it is important to look for funding sources outside of our generous patrons.
We have the opportunity to raise funds for our athletic programs while providing a unique experience to our student athletes and their family members. The University of Nebraska Lincoln allows organizations to work concessions for home football contests in order to generate revenue for their programs.
We would like to take a group of interested individuals from Stapleton and Tryon to an upcoming event. Missy Kramer and I are looking for individuals that are interested in working concessions and in return UNL Athletic Department will pay us anywhere between $75-$100 per person that we commit.
This is a fantastic opportunity for us to go to Memorial Stadium as a unified cooperative and support our athletic programs. We would like to get an estimate of individuals who would be interested in attending one of the games at Memorial Stadium.
The Huskers have a spring game set for Saturday April 27th, 2024. There are additional fall home games that could potentially be an opportunity as well.
