- When renting an instrument, it will come from the school or Kittle’s Music in North Platte. We have a limited number of instruments at school, so some will have to come from Kittle’s. Percussion will need Vic Firth 5B drum sticks and black electrical tape to wrap the ends. Please put your name on your sticks!
- Black shoes (all black is preferred), black socks, black slacks (if you’re in band and choir, you may want to stick with the band outfit and choose a white top for concerts)

Required-**– Students will not be allowed to participate in shop activities if they do not have proper safetywear. Safety equipment is recommended to be left in the classroom Note - Materials for any projects must be paid for by the student

- SPS supplies welding-students with one-size-fits-all safety glasses, gloves, helmets, and welding jackets. If you have items that meet minimum safety standards and fit you better, you are welcome to bring them.
- Skull cap/ beanie/ baseball cap
- If you wear glasses, you may want to purchase safety glasses that fit over your prescription glasses. All safety glasses MUST be ANSI z87+ to be used in the SPS welding and woods lab. (z87+ means they’ve been tested for high-impact)
